About Cielo Inmuebles

What we do

Houses, land, ranches and commercial property across Mexico in one place and in two languages. A buyer in the United States or Canada can read everything in English and see prices in dollars or pesos.

The listings belong to the agencies and owners who publish them. Our job is to collect them, put them in order and point the buyer to whoever is selling. Owners and agents can also publish or claim their listings on the site, and paid placements are labeled Sponsored and shown first.

How the data is collected

• For listings that come from other sites, we read only public pages on the agencies' own websites, and we follow each site's robots.txt.
• Every source is re-read every day. A listing that stops appearing at its source is taken off the site.
• Duplicates are removed by the original listing address and by a fingerprint of address, price and title.
• Price, size and rooms are shown as the agency publishes them. Where a field is missing the page leaves it out; nothing is invented.
• Each listing that comes from another site shows a single cover photo, credited to the agency, and a link to the original listing for the full text and gallery. Claimed or paid listings may carry the publisher's own text and gallery.

Prices and currency

• All prices are the agency's asking prices, not valuations and not sale prices.
• Price ranges on the area pages count only listings priced between US$1,000 and US$50,000,000; the rest are left out of the range, not corrected.
• When a source gives one currency, the other is derived at a fixed reference rate of 18.5 pesos per dollar. It is a reference for comparing listings, not the day's exchange rate.

What Cielo Inmuebles is not

• It is not a brokerage or an agent, and it does not charge to close transactions.
• It gives no valuations, opinions of value, or legal or tax advice. For a purchase, a notario público you choose examines the title and closes the sale.
• It does not cover every agency in Mexico, only the ones that appear here.

Corrections and removals

If you hold a listing you can review it, correct it or ask for it to be removed, free of charge. We answer within 48 hours and, where we can, the same business day.
