Who is responsible
Cielo Inmuebles (cieloinmuebles.com), Baja California, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data collected on this site. Contact: contact form.
Data we collect
- Buyers and visitors who contact us: name, email, phone or WhatsApp, your message and the property you asked about.
- Advertisers (owners, agents, agencies): name, WhatsApp, email, agency name; property data (location, price, size, photos, description); for verification, an official ID (INE), a page of the deed or a property-tax (predial) receipt, and a walkthrough video link or a dated photo at the property; and payment records (method, date, amount). We do not store card numbers.
- Invoice (factura) requests: RFC, legal name, tax regime, fiscal postal code, CFDI use and invoice email, kept so we can issue your CFDI.
- Removal requests: name, email or WhatsApp and message of whoever asks us to remove or correct a listing, kept to handle the request.
- Data in listings gathered from other sites: we show property listings that agencies and owners published openly on their own websites: photos, description, price, location and the name of the agency that published it, with a link to the original listing. We do not collect anything beyond what the original listing shows. If you published a listing and want it removed or corrected, use the removal form; we remove it the same business day whenever we can, and always within 48 hours.
- Browsing: pages visited, the page you came from, browser type and a one-way daily hash used to count visits and to limit repeated form submissions. We do not store your IP address in our database.
Deeds and property-tax receipts contain financial/property data; we process them only with your express consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form. We do not request sensitive personal data.
Claim requests ("Claim your listings")
When you claim listings through the claim form we collect your name, email, an optional phone number, the agency and the listings you pick, a short free-text note (up to 200 characters), the browser's user-agent text, and up to three files showing one property document (title deed page, property-tax bill or exclusive-listing contract). We do not ask for your ID card (INE) and we ask you to cover ID, account and card numbers on the document before uploading it. The files are kept in a private space only Cielo Inmuebles can open, used only to check the claim, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. When a claim is submitted our team gets an email with your name, email and phone through our email provider. Claiming does not use the old verification flow: it asks for no ID card. To limit repeated submissions we keep a one-way daily hash of your connection with the request.
E-mails inviting agencies and developers to claim their listings
If the contact email of your agency or development company is public (for example on its own website), we may write to you to invite you to claim your listings on Cielo Inmuebles and to answer you. We take only that email and the company name; we do not buy lists. We do not sell or share it. We handle these data under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), and this notice is made available to you in the first email. The sender is Cielo Inmuebles, 1050 E Flamingo Road, Suite 107 PMB 1988, Las Vegas, NV 89119, United States. You can object at any time: use the one-click opt-out link in each email or reply "no", and we will not write to you again; your opt-out is permanent. You can also exercise your ARCO rights by replying to any of these emails or through the contact above.
What we use it for
Primary purposes (needed for the service):
- Publish and show property listings.
- Verify that whoever advertises a property owns it or is authorized to advertise it.
- Put buyers in touch with advertisers. On a listing claimed by a verified advertiser, your message goes to that advertiser; on other listings it goes to Cielo Inmuebles.
- Charge paid plans and keep payment records.
- Answer questions and meet legal obligations.
Secondary purpose: site usage statistics. You can object to it at any time through the contact above.
Who we share it with
- We do not sell your data.
- If you claim a listing, your name or your agency's name and your WhatsApp appear on your listings so buyers can reach you.
- Your inquiry goes to the advertiser of the listing you ask about, when that listing is claimed.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- Mercado Pago, the payment processor: it collects and keeps your card or payment details; we never see or store card numbers. It tells us whether a payment was approved.
- Hosting, database and email providers that process data on our behalf (Vercel, Supabase, Resend), which may store it outside Mexico (United States). Maps load images from map providers, which may receive your IP address.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purposes above. Verification documents are stored in a private space only Cielo Inmuebles can open; you may ask us to delete them at any time (the Verified badge is then removed).
Your rights
You may access, correct, cancel or object to the use of your data (ARCO rights), and withdraw your consent, by writing to the contact above with your name, the right you want to exercise and a way to confirm your identity. We will answer within the time limits set by Mexican data-protection law.
Cookies and storage
We use no advertising or third-party cookies. Your browser stores your currency choice and, if you advertise with us, your dashboard access.
