Distances, roads and the border
Distances published by the Baja California tourism board, measured from Tijuana: Rosarito 21 km, Tecate 50 km, Ensenada 105 km and San Felipe 353 km. The SCT record lists three toll booths on the Tijuana-Ensenada toll road. Border waits and tolls change daily, so this guide links the official pages instead of quoting figures.

How to read the distances
The state table measures between towns, not from a border crossing, and it prints no driving times. For the same pair of towns it gives two figures in different rows, which differ by up to about 14 km, so we give them as approximate and show both where they differ.
What changes, and where to check it
Border waits, toll rates and travel advisories change. These are the official pages; check them on the day you travel.
